National Night Out is the first Tuesday in August.

Shorewood is going old school for National Night Out (NNO) this year. The first NNO had neighborhoods and communities showing their unity and support by turning on their porch light to stamp out crime. Everyone knows the burglars hate light. Shorewood wants to go back to that community spirit - so turn on your porch light on Tuesday, August 7th from 7pm to 10pm to show Shorewood stands united against crime. Open house at the police station from 4p.m. to 6p.m. See the new squad and bikes, get your picture taken in the squad or cell.
