DETAIL: October
24 - Duane Milder – make that Tom Klug Duane
will be leaving us to take a position in Bay View.
Congratulations to him on his new job.
Lucky for us, we still have Tom.
So please come hear what's new and improved at the Shorewood
Fitness Center. October
31 - Shorewood Players Members
of the Shorewood Players will join us and give us a preview of their fall
show - The Wizard of Oz. As always, this is sure to prove to be a
great evening. November
7 – Mike O’Brien Investor-dude extraordinaire, Mike O’Shorewood, will join us to explain just how easy it is to become a millionaire. If you like money, you better not miss this presentation. November
14 – annual Turkey Raffle Perhaps our most entertaining evening of the year, you will certainly want to make this special event. You can be sure that Dave the human megaphone and Mike mix-it-up Mackedon will be there. You can also be sure that you’ll leave wondering just how many tickets Henry Paque had to buy in order to walk away with so much loot. NOTICES: Many
of you know just how much time is spent by Ken Zemlicka and his crew,
gathering items for the Turkey Raffle.
If you can spend even a small amount of time helping, please
contact Ken. It would be
greatly appreciated. Likewise,
any items that you would like to donate to the cause will be equally
appreciated. Contact Dave
Banaszynski or Bob Schumacher if you would like to donate. Dues
notices have gone out, and everyone should have received one by now.
If you haven’t done so already, please take a moment and complete
the form and send it in with your check. And
finally, just a quick note about the village budget…
Unlike the state, Shorewood is right on schedule with the budget.
The full board will be reviewing the budget on Monday, October 29,
at 5:30. A public hearing is
scheduled for Monday, November 19 (I believe this will start at 7:30 pm).
All are welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings –
particularly the public hearing.
