GRANTED:

to sponsor the Memorial Day Ceremony $105
to help the High School Photography club purchase supplies
NOTICES: Have
a shovel and/or a blower, a little free time, and the desire for a bit more
exercise? Elizabeth Price with the
Senior Resource Center keeps a list of volunteers who she can call upon from
time to time to help clear walks and drives for residents that have a
particularly difficult time doing this themselves.
Please contact Elizabeth at 847-2727 if you would be willing to be on
this list. Not necessarily on an annual basis, but when the SMC Board decides to, it has a “Man of the Year” dinner to thank a special member of the community for all that they have done. This year, the board has decided to honor Barbara Genzler, head of the Shorewood High School Drama Department, and a teacher with 40 years of outstanding service to SHS and the Shorewood community. More about this event will come in the future. |
